There have been countless attempts to explain the origin of life. The question is as old as mankind and until today we still do not know when and how the leap from matter to organic reproduction occurred. Dog Nose raises this question and answers it in a very personal way by taking the viewer on a journey to a natural history museum and on a night ride through a dark winter landscape, all the while explaining the basics of cell division until the train stops in the middle of nowhere.
